i have app draw red line on apple map while user drive car iphone.
when driver drives fast on corners don't coordinates connects 2 points straight line (and flying car :)).
there solution how make more precise.
on image show happens.
large error on image @ 'terminal ave , clark...'
user drive car store each new coordinate in database (local) , based on draw route.
errors drive me creasy.
idea or example how fix error on corners.
i think can not precise. thing can "guess" route driver got.
you can soft "straight line effect" kind of interpolation between 2 points far away 1 other.
in video games industry, when autonomous character moving 1 point another, avoid him going straight forward steering behaviors used go in soft , rounded way.
maybe read them , see if u can apply them project.
