i in confusion now. developing java project in windows platform. now, problem how can know if codings (java j2se) work in os? in codings there varies parts serial port programming, smslib, rxtx lib, database connections (odbc , jdbc). can 1 offer ideas or solution this?

your code should work long not using os native apis. im afraid might doing have mentioned code uses things serial port programmin, rxtx lib etc. if not enjoy java 'write 1 , run anywhere' feature.
