i know there way run multiple cassandra servers on single machine, tall servers on machine form 1 ring (cluster).

there's way!

there excellent tool available allows configure multi-node cluster locally, it's not supported under windows. when build cluster , start it, configure ring you. can check out ring using ./nodetool -h 127.0.0.1 -p 7100 ring after has started.

*just side-note, ccm tool starts cluster background process.
