is there fast , easy way same size of models in unity in 3ds max? created scene in 3ds max , exported models fbx. import them in unity, size , positions different. have adjust them hand.
is there faster way?
if understand correctly, first in 3dsmax ensure centre of object importing unity in the exact centre of 3d max project, easiest way select object right click arrows next x,y , z @ bottom of user interface. (this sets them 0 fix position).
if have scene multiple objects , exporting entire scene together, 1 object place other objects in there relevant position centre object.
you may want set rotation, can't done rotating object in 3dsmax, change perspective, need alter pivot point. let's imported arrow, want arrows x forward position (the direction arrow faces), in unity arrow points along y axis, need alter pivot. video illustrates how alter pivot point 3d studio max change pivot position. (trust me need when things complicated).
as size need units unity accepts 3dsmax, 3dsmax has many units of scale can used project. have search online unity , 3dmax scale compatibility, i've never used unity couldn't tell know using udk scale in 3dsmax needs changed.
