Where do alpha testers download Google Play Android apps? -

i have developed app , have published through google play alpha testing. 1 of testers opt-in link, signed in tester. after hoping download app directly phone going play store on phone. seems turn out, have got app's web profile , there click download; play store download app phone.

i want other alpha testers involved , hoping make process easier them. there easier way? in, once opt-in, them use android phone download app way other app. there way?

• i not looking alternative google play

• i have gone through google group creation process. question concerning happens after group member opts-in. can use phone directly (play-app on phone) or must download website? far have not been successful using play-app.

you need publish app before becomes availible testing.

if publish app , apk in "alpha testing" section not availible general public, activated testers in alpha section.

edit: 1 additional note: "normal" uses not find app on google play, activated tester can not find application using search box.

only direct link application package work. (only activated testers).
