i'm developing platform users in effect have own site within directory of own. each user site consist of package of php scripts , template/image files sites custom layout. each user site connected own amazon rds. need able track resource usage of each directory can bill each user resources have used. possible setup custom metrics cloudwatch can calculate costs?
you should able use cloudwatch this, however, might not efficient place put information if going bill or report on it. think better off computing data , storing in database of own. way have easy access data , can things data may not work in context of cloudwatch.
