android - Does Admob performs requests when the app is in background? -

i've integrated admob app. can't seem find in admob references.

are admobs still running , bringing revenue if app in background or ad not visible? (for example

1. the user pressed "home" button

2. the user turned off screen

3. the ad positioned outside screen bounds

in opinon wrong behavior if admob still requesting ads , paying money per impressions in of above cases.

how work? can point me link/reference exaplains behavior?

clicking back, home, or closing phone pause application not terminate it. possible run application service\wakelock , continue run in background. admob requests should not running in background if application paused. should not receiving impressions or revenue while application in background.

you can see in logcat when admob requesting ad. seeing requests when app in foreground (you should), , when app pauses (you should not see requests)?
