View all transaction logs in SQL Server 2014 -

is familiar if there , updates on topic in sql server 2014? ms going document transaction log or provide own tool this?

i’ve seen post provides details on sql server 2008:

view transaction logs in sql server 2008

i’ve looked @ datasheets , documentation on ms website couldn’t find anything.

is familiar if there better ways this? have sql server 2014 ctp 1 installed maybe missed option somehow…

reason i’m asking historically had lot of issues accidental updates , deletes such wrong statement or statement missing.

as far know options are:

  • third party tool apexsql log (red gate has free tool sql server 2000)
  • undocumented commands such dbcc log or fn_dblog.
  • change data capture – sql server feature automatically creates history tables available in enterprise edition

we evaluating sql server 2014 ctp 1 it’s in memory features haven’t been able find on topic. don’t believe ms going allow time sooner. right focus on enterprise level features such high availability, in memory queries , such… also, have own version of in cdc.
