android - How to make a custom view in an App Widget similar to the one in Google Play Music widget? -

i've found out of google play music widget "what's song?" , surprised find custom view in it:

how happen? far know, can't have custom views in remoteviews.

ok think know , it's pretty simple. must simple imageview gets updated every 400ms or generated bitmap showing wave. there no animation between frames think it's matter of drawing stuff on canvas or generating more advanced bitmap in ndk layer. interesting!
